The ABC’s of DAV Auxiliary Membership

A— Attend your meetings regularly.

B— Be informed first hand information is important.

C— Check out the facts before repeating things told to you.

D— Do support for the programs and projects of the organization.

E— Express yourself freely and earnestly at meetings, not after.

F— Familiarize yourself with the Constitution and By-Laws of the DAV Auxiliary.

G— Give the proper respect to the officers you elected to serve you.

H— Help new members, be friendly and make them feel welcomed.

I— Interest the involvement follows caring and sharing.

J— Junior members are future leaders— train them now.

K— Knock on doors, sign up eligible members in the DAV Auxiliary.

L— Leave jealously and bickering to someone else.

M— Make someone happy everyday by doing a good deed.

N— Nothing can be accomplished without effort.

O— Obey the laws and rules of the organization.

P— Prepare yourself; attend meetings, workshops and schools of instruction.

Q— Quickly praise your members for doing a good job.

R— Report your hours and work honestly to the respective chairman.

S—Share a smile, show how much are care.

T— Treasure your membership in our great organization.  Consider a life membership.

U— Understand the officers are human and are subject to error.

V— Volunteer, make hospitalized veterans and yourself happy.

W— Wear your cap, pins, badges and smocks proudly.

Y— You, the members are the only resource of the DAV Auxiliary.

Z— Zealously participate in the programs of the DAV Auxiliary.
